Assessment Overview

The Maryland High School Assessments (HSA) are tests that measure both school and individual progress towards satisfying the Maryland Core Learning Goals. The graduating class of 2009 will need to pass the assessments in order to satisfy graduating requirements.

The HSA are comprised of four tests-one in English 10, algebra/data analysis, biology and government. After your child completes the course, he/she will then take the exam.
