I graduated from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2002, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management.  After two short-lived careers and moving to Ocean City, I decided to go back to graduate school.  I graduated from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore in 2005, earning a Master of Education degree. 

I teach Foundations of Business and Finance, which is a prerequisite for one of our three pathways offered in our Business and Finance Academy.  I am also the coordinator for the Cooperative Education program here in our school.  Students who take and pass my Cooperative Education I class are then eligible to take Cooperative Education II.  During the semester in Cooperative Education II, students are allowed to leave school early and go to work.  I am responsible for checking with students’ employers to evaluate their working experience.  My extra activities here at Decatur include serving as a member on the advisory board for our Business and Finance Academy and I help coach our Boy’s Basketball team. 

Also, I find great joy in being a member of the Ocean City Baptist Church, and in the summers with my time off from teaching, I work in Ocean City as a member of the Ocean City Beach Patrol.
