SDHS Academic Team

The Academic Team meets for practice weekly, after school on Thursdays in Room A177. The A-Team competes several times a year in regional and national academic challenges. Our first competition of the season was at Wor-Wic College. The Comcast Challenge is a regional competition and involved 10 area high schools this year. The next competition will be an on-line national competition called The Knowledge Master. It will be held in April and is a 2 and ½ hour marathon match which will include knowledge of all subject areas. We are always happy to have new members – it’s great exercise for the brain!
